About Me!

Still trying to figure this whole blogging site out, still confused ://  Anyway, there is a section to write up summary of yourself...the ''About Me'' section, but apparently mine was too long :((  I couldn't bring myself to delete my ''about me'', so I am posting it here instead, and will have to come up with a shorter version for the site later....here is the original: 

I am a lover of cupcakes, books, cats, wine, sushi, beaches, and margaritas!  I am proud to be married to Blue Benitez, and love learning something new about his Mexican heritage and culture everyday!  Also the proud mother of Elena Sarah Maria Benitez, she is such a lovely, fun, and charismatic little girl!  She makes me laugh, and I love her for that!  I enjoy traveling, learning about cultures, history, and people.  I am passionate about spreading love and peace, and feel especially compassionate towards helping minorities, and the oppressed.  I am inspired by do-gooders and believe that kindness and love are the keys to a successful and happy life!  I enjoy a good rainy day in bed with a cup of hot tea and a favorite film or a good book.  I also love love love and day soaking up the warm sun on the beach with a cold drink in hand!  I think that a simple life is the best life, and I think growing older is beautiful...age doesn't scare me a bit!  I wouldn't trade my family for the world, even if they do annoy me occasionally...they are still the best in my eyes!  I have been known to enjoy picking up a power tool on occasion...carpentry is something I have enjoyed learning about and hope to keep learning more! I love organization and cleanliness, lol...call me a weirdo or OCD but a clean house is a happy house, and nothing beats the feel of clean crisp bed sheets!  I don't cook too much, it's something I despised in the past, but something that seems to be growing on me slowly.  My favorite shoes are flip flops, and although I wouldn't call myself a girly girl, I love lip gloss ;)  I love meeting new people, and I love my friends very much, each person is special to me and brought into my life for certain magical reasons.  I love God, but religion not so much.  My life so far has been amazingly blessed, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds...I am grateful for the struggles I have had, because they have taught me so much!!  It took me awhile to realize my purpose in this life, but now it is clear to me that I am here simply to share love, laughs, peace, joy, kindness, hugs, tears, sorrows, and everything that life is made up of with you!! :)
