Daddy does it again!!!

So, let me start off by saying that this is NOT the first, but the second time this has happened.  Only the first time, I didn't have a blog to tell you about it :)  Yesterday, after I finished bathing Elena, I handed her off to daddy so he could dress her and blow dry her hair, while I finished up taking my shower.  This is our usual routine, since we don't have a bath tub, I have to shower Elena, and then I take mine right after I am done with her.  As soon as I began to crack open the bedroom door, still wrapped in my bath towel, I am met with Blue standing in my way saying in a very serious and concerned voice, ''Don't get mad, please don't be mad!''.  He repeated this to a varying degree several times, as I tried to get past him.  Now I am thinking ''Oh Jesus, WHAT!?''.  I sigh, and give him the death look, thinking what could it be??  It's never good when someone starts off a sentence with ''don't be mad''....you tend to automatically get mad. 

I squeeze in the room, just as he announces he's made a mistake and he is very sorry,  Elena turns her head and looks at me sheepishly.  HE CUT HER BANGS.....OFF.  I immediately get mad, not really heated intense mad, but more frustrated, annoyed, and can't believe it kind of mad.  My precious baby girl looks ridiculous, she probably would have done a better job cutting her own bangs than he did.  I threw out some of my anger, asking repeatedly why the hell he did it, what was he thinking, did he not realize how short they were, why didn't he wait for me?, etc.  He knew he screwed up, especially since this was the second time he'd done it, and he promised before never to touch her hair again.  Don't worry though, this wasn't a really serious fight, the anger quickly turned to laughter, and all three of us giggled at her ridiculous new look.  Since he cut her bangs not only super short, but horribly crooked too, I attempted to fix them, and at least make them straight.  Elena giggled at the whole situation, luckily she is too little to feel bad about her silly new look.  She just thought the fuss daddy and I were making about it was funny.

Lesson learned, for the second time....do NOT let daddy touch Elena's hair!!!  We repeated this statement several times, and I even threatened him with divorce if it happens again ;)  Elena has clear orders to yell fiercely if daddy comes near her hair with scissors ever again.  At least we can laugh and giggle about it now, and hopefully her hair will grow out quickly!  Mommie had a mini heart attack, and even though my baby girl has one awful hairdo going on right now, she's still precious in my eyes of course!
